Accessibility statement

Last updated 29 August 2026

We want this site to work for everyone, whatever device or assistive technology they use. It is built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, and we test it against that.

What we have done

  • Every page can be used with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline and a skip link to the main content.
  • Text and background colours meet the AA contrast ratio, including on buttons and the footer.
  • Headings are in a logical order and every page has one main heading.
  • Images that carry meaning have descriptive alternative text; decorative ones are hidden from screen readers.
  • Form fields have visible labels, errors are announced, and nothing depends on colour alone.
  • The site respects your operating system's reduced-motion setting and works at 200% zoom.
  • No content flashes, autoplays with sound, or moves without your action.

What we know is not perfect

The expandable questions on some pages use the browser's built-in disclosure element, which some older screen readers announce inconsistently. The optional anti-spam widget on the quote form, if we enable it, is provided by Cloudflare and we cannot change its accessibility. If either causes you a problem, phone or email us and we will take your enquiry that way.

Tell us
